The Devastation of Wilma Day 4:A Gas Success Story

ChipperWent out alone looking for gas containers and at my second Home Depot (University Drive), I found some in stock. They turned out to be nice 6 Gallon containers which was a boon later on. Because of high demand, they limited us to purchasing two cans per person. While this sounds kinda hum-drum, it took more than two hours to accomplish, mostly standing in line to get inside Home Depot.
On my way back I got in a short line for gas about a mile and a half from the station. Anita was also in line, Ray stopped by my house and picked up sandwiches and snacks that Cindy prepared for our wait in line. Ray swaped with Anita and she went back to my house. When we arrived at the station, they had the most lenient rationing we had heard of so far, Full tank and one gas can! Most other stations were limiting at $20. This was where a six gallon can was superior to a typical, meager five gallon can. grin, or grimace...
