Ray, 40, of Charlotte, passed away on July 29, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC after his heroic battle with brain cancer
Ray was born on November 20, 1969 in Miami, FL. Among his many family and friends left behind are his wife Anita, son Tommy, daughters Devyn and Taylor, mother Margo Hall and husband Robert and their extended Colorado Family, father Ray Strickland and wife Ruth and their extended family, sister Cindy Chiapusio and husband Chip and their children Kris and Tori, grandmother Marjorie Strickland, Grandma Jane Klein, and so many other family and friends.
Ray loved life, underdogs, stray animals and people in general. He was extremely outgoing making friends easily wherever he went. He was an avid Miami Dolphins Fan, loved to ride Harley motorcycles and collect junk.
Ray will be deeply missed by all. To his family, his passing will make the sun shine a little dimmer
A memorial service to Celebrate Ray's journey through life will be held on Sunday, August 1st 2010 at 4:00pm at Carolina Funeral & Cremation Center located at 5505 Monroe Road Charlotte, NC 28212 704-568-0023. Reception immediately following at The Strickland's home located at 151 Sardis Road North Charlotte, NC 28270, 704-248-4914.
